I view on taking and passing the CCRN a right of passage for an ICU nurse. I began my career in a cardiac telemetry unit. Four year after, I transition to cardiac ICU where I recovered open heart patients for 4 more years. I then left the organization and floated to other ICU settings (MICU, neuroscience) for 2 years before settling in interventional radiology in 2019. I continued to do do some ICU gigs here and there until March 2019. I finally decided to relax a bit.
